Job Description
Looking for that next step? We have the ideal opportunity for a Lead Veterinarian at a thriving small animal hospital in Anthem, AZ, known locally for its commitment to modern medicine and exceptional client care.
This is a unique opportunity to have influence over clinical standards, mentor a talented veterinary team, and play a key part in the hospital’s success—with a clear pathway to progress into a Medical Director with future ownership opportunity.
In this role, you’ll balance leadership with hands-on practice. You’ll guide associate veterinarians, support recruitment and mentorship efforts, and help refine workflows and client service standards to ensure the hospital delivers the highest standard of patient care.
You’ll also maintain a diverse clinical caseload of general practice and urgent care, utilizing the latest veterinary equipment and technology. Collaboration is central here—between the rest of the veterinary team, support staff, and senior leadership teams.
The role offers a competitive base salary of $160,000–$180,000, plus production and no negative accrual, and a $10,000 CE allowance to continue your professional growth. Enjoy a 4-day workweek with no on-call or overnight shifts, comprehensive medical, dental, and vision benefits, and a 401k with company match—all within a hospital culture that prioritizes mentorship, quality medicine, and a balanced lifestyle.
If you have at least 2 years of clinical experience, a valid DVM license in good standing, and a passion for leadership, mentorship, and delivering high-quality care, this could be your next career-defining opportunity.
