If you’re an experienced leader, or an ER Veterinarian ready to take a step up in your career, then we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking a dedicated Medical Director to join a state-of-the-art Emergency Veterinary Hospital in beautiful Lynchburg, VA.
This large, purpose-built Hospital has been providing emergency veterinary care to the Lynchburg community and its surrounding areas for over a decade. They are committed to delivering an exceptional level of service and compassionate care to pets and their families during their time of need. The facility is well-equipped with the latest technology including on-site laboratory, digital X-ray, ventilator, endoscopy, cardiovascular ultrasound, and electrosurgical equipment. They also have a team of experienced veterinarians and support staff who work collaboratively to ensure the best possible outcomes for their patients.

As the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of skilled veterinarians, licensed veterinary technicians, and support staff. You will be responsible for overseeing the medical operations of the emergency hospital, maintaining high standards of patient care, and implementing best practices.
Your role will involve making critical medical decisions, ensuring the well-being of patients, and fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. You will receive support and guidance from a wider network of hospitals. - Must hold a DVM or an equivalent veterinary degree.
- Possess an active GA State License in good standing.
- Have over five years of veterinary practice experience in the United States.
