As the Managing Veterinarian, you will take a leadership role in delivering top-tier medical care, mentoring a talented veterinary team, and driving the hospital’s continued success. With 30-60 minute appointment windows, dedicated administrative time, and an extensive support staff, you will have the resources to focus on both high-quality medicine and leadership development. This hospital is AAHA-accredited and the only Certified B-Corp General Practice Veterinary Company in the country, ensuring an ethical, sustainable work environment. Additionally, there are no non-compete clauses, and full relocation assistance is provided.

- Oversee the diagnosis, treatment, and care of pets while counseling clients on wellness and preventative care.
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinarians and support staff, ensuring medical standards are met and a positive client experience is maintained.
- Enjoy practicing medicine in an innovative, spa-like facility designed to reduce stress for both pets and pet parents.
- Collaborate closely with the administrative team and head nurse to foster a culture of open communication, continuous learning, and improvement.
- Guide your team through complex cases, provide mentorship, and support ongoing professional development.
- Manage controlled substances and oversee medical supply orders, ensuring regulatory compliance and best practices are followed.
- Champion the hospital’s values and mission, driving compassionate care and operational excellence in all aspects of the practice.
- You hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) or equivalent degree
- Hold an active Massachusetts state and DEA license
- Have 5+ years of experience in the veterinary field
- You must have strong interpersonal skills and a passion for mentoring and teaching
- You are committed to practicing the highest standards of veterinary medicine and maintaining ethical guidelines
- You excel in a collaborative, team-oriented environment and enjoy working closely with both medical and administrative teams
