Atlas is excited to present a unique opportunity for a passionate and skilled Medical Director to join one of the fastest-growing de novo veterinary clinics dedicated to revolutionizing pet care.
They’re on a mission to enhance the human-animal bond through top-notch primary and urgent care services. Designed to be warm, friendly, and pet-centric, the clinic integrates cutting-edge technology to continuously improve the experience for pets, clients, and the veterinary team.
As the Medical Director, you will be pivotal in ensuring patients receive the highest standard of care while fostering a collaborative and positive work environment for the clinic team. Your role will involve collaborating with the Clinic Manager and Regional Director of Operations, striving for continued success and improvement in all areas of the clinic. Additionally, you will fulfill the responsibilities of an Associate Veterinarian, providing direct care to patients.
This role is perfect for a client-oriented, excellent communicator who is a natural mentor and leader. You will be responsible for mentoring Associate Veterinarians, participating in performance improvement processes, organizing team meetings, developing practice protocols, and much more.
- Lead and mentor a team of veterinary professionals

- Ensure the delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care
- Collaborate with the Clinic Manager to develop and implement protocols
- Act as an ambassador within the veterinary community
- Maintain the Clinic Doctor’s Schedule
- Participate in talent acquisition and recruitment efforts
- Veterinary Medical Degree (DVM/VMD or foreign equivalent)
- Georgia State licensure in good standing (or ability to obtain)
- 3-5+ years of clinical veterinary experience preferred
- 1+ years of leadership experience preferred
- An enjoyment for building strong client relationships
- Dedicated to supporting a team and fostering a positive culture within the clinic
