We’re excited to be able to share this awesome Medical Director opportunity, which has come available based in Lemon Grove, a beautiful suburb of San Diego, representing one of San Diego’s longest-serving community pillars, providing exceptional pet care to our furry friends of San Diego since 1942.
We are looking for an experienced, open, and approachable veterinarian who is interested in growing their leadership and management responsibilities in the form of a Medical Director leading a team of 2 other DVMs! As a medical director, you will take the autonomy to lead the Hospital, having full guidance and support to excel as a leader, which includes access to the medical initiatives committee, allowing development and Hospital growth.
The Hospital is a well-equipped facility, currently working on two full-time veterinarians. Where we seek their leader to join in continuing the Hospital’s growth. They are fully equipped with all the updated and modern toys you’d expect and have a highly skilled team of staff who value fear-free and feline-friendly practices. They’re a full-service Hospital offering preventative care, wellness examinations, diagnostics, soft tissue surgery, and much more!
Becoming a Hospital leader doesn’t have to mean you’ll only have time for work and no life outside of the hospital. We’re excited to announce incredibly flexible scheduling options for you, where you can have the power to discuss what works best for you! We’re able to consider ideally 3 or 4 days per week with a split of the weekend schedule between the permanent doctors. If weekends aren’t up your street, fear not – we can provide options without weekends!

- To have or have the ability to obtain a California state license.
- DVM/VMD degree or equivalent.
- CA State Veterinary Board license in good standing.

- Passionate about providing the best Veterinary care!
- Excellent salary and remuneration between $180,000-$200,000.
