Atlas Consultancy is proud to be in partnership with an incredible 7-doctor hospital based in the stunning location of Surprise, AZ! Joining the team as their Medical Clinical Director, you will take pride in leading the day-to-day operations of the clinic, supporting future recruitment of veterinary staff, communicating cultural and clinical updates to your team, working closely with your doctors to achieve their own clinical goals – training and mentoring where applicable, fostering strong relationships between all colleagues across all departments, maintaining a strong understanding of operational KPIs, and communicating updates to leadership teams, and much more!
In addition to your leadership responsibilities, you will also be allocated sufficient clinical time to continue practicing the medicine you love! With regards to scheduling, the organization is flexible, so you can decide whether a 3, 4, or 5-day working week would suit you and your lifestyle best. You will be pleased to hear that there are very few weekend shifts, opening on a Saturday 9am-3pm, the most Saturdays you will be working will be one shift per month, again this can be negotiated.
Acknowledging the challenge and hard work required for this position, you will be highly compensated through an incredible benefits package, sign-on bonus of up to $45,000, profit-share, and endless care progression opportunities within the company – including ownership options if desired. You will have ongoing support from senior leadership teams and a wide network of other Clinical Directors operating at nearby clinics. - Experience an outstanding veterinary technician-to-doctor ratio, ensuring constant support with a minimum of two technicians available per doctor.
- Possession of a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA-accredited college or equivalent is required.
- You must hold an Arizona State Licence in good standing or have the ability to obtain one if relocating.
- Minimum of four years of clinical experience as a Veterinarian is desired, with a demonstrated passion for leadership or interest in transitioning into a leadership role. Associate level positions are also an option.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills are imperative.
