Job Description
This unique 10,000 sq. ft. private hospital in League City, TX is searching for a unique Veterinarian with a special interest in Neurology. Ideally, you will be a board-certified neurologist or residency-trained. However, full training and mentorship can be provided for someone who has a keen interest in specializing. This is an opportunity to be part of a supportive and dynamic multi-doctor team dedicated to excellence in animal care and professional development.
You will be working closely with the owner of the hospital who currently covers the neurology, orthopedic surgery, and stem cell therapy treatment and is looking to hand over the reigns as he approaches retirement in the next few years. With 40 years of experience and a passion for mentoring and teaching, you will have all the support you need to flourish in this role.
The multi-disciplinary hospital offers extensive primary and advanced services, including neurology, general wellness, preventative care, urgent care, dermatology, internal medicine, and soft tissue and orthopedic surgery. The hospital’s environment is inviting, bright, and modern, featuring an impressive diagnostic suite with a rare 3-Tesla MRI, CT scanner, Ultrasound, dental x-rays, endoscopy, fluoroscopy, in-house laboratory, and advanced surgical equipment. In addition to the impressive diagnostic equipment, the hospital is home to a fantastic array of surgical tools and a fully functional allogenic mesenchymal stem cell laboratory, the only private facility in the country.
The clinic’s owners prioritize a strong work-life balance, allowing you to choose a schedule that suits your needs. Typically, veterinarians work 3.5 days on and 3.5 days off, providing ample time for personal interests and commitments. Alternatively, if you prefer a 4/10 schedule, this can be accommodated with optional weekends.
Every day at this hospital is an adventure. While the clinic primarily treats canine and feline patients, there is also a variety of exotic and avian species, though treating these animals is entirely optional. If you are passionate about exotic animals, this is the perfect hospital for you!
If you’re seeking dedicated mentorship and support, this hospital provides unparalleled, personalized mentorship from owners with over 40 years of experience in veterinary medicine. They have a genuine passion for teaching and mentoring. Every Wednesday, the team gathers for training focused on collaboration, continuous improvement, and opportunities to share your ideas, opinions, and needs. The clinic covers one CE event per year, plus any local events in Texas. With an excellent support staff-to-veterinarian ratio of 6:1, you can focus on delivering a gold-standard level of care to your patients.
- Receive a highly competitive straight salary of up to $300,000, with no pressure to meet production targets. The owners believe in focusing on patient care rather than financial incentives.
- Join a respected, family-owned, 10,000 sq. ft. hospital with a large, loyal client base.
- A unique caseload of Neurology, Orthopedics and Stem Cell Therapy although flexibility in this caseload can be given based on your clinical interests.
- Be part of a multi-doctor practice that promotes a culture of collaboration and support.
- Enjoy exceptional mentorship opportunities from a board-certified owner and other experienced team members who are passionate about teaching and guiding.
- Work with no non-compete agreements.
- Experience a fast-paced and busy clinic that treats various patients, including dogs, cats, exotics, avians, and zoo animals.
- Choose a schedule that fits your lifestyle, whether it’s 4/10 shifts, no weekends, or 3.5 days on with 3-4 days off.
- Participate in fun team bonding events where departments take turns cooking for the practice, fostering connections over shared meals!
- Benefit from the support of 5-6 staff members dedicated to assisting you throughout your day.
- Join the hospital that helped establish the fear-free program and emphasizes handling methods that prioritize the well-being and comfort of patients.
- Embrace each day as an adventure with a diverse caseload, offering endless learning and development opportunities at this private hospital.

- Fantastic straight salary of $250,000-$300,000, depending on experience
