Are you an aspiring or experienced Veterinary Medical Director?
We are searching for a passionate and supportive leader to take the helm at an established three-doctor practice in Portomac, Maryland.
Already one of leading primary care hospitals in the area, you’ll been joining a practice that has a great reputation amongst its loyal and friendly client base. The team all get along and a strong culture of collaboration, support and having fun has already been embedded into everyone.
The practice itself is a standalone site, spacious and well equipped with everything you’d need to provide excellent veterinary care in a general practice capacity.
We’re looking for someone who is a strong leader, organized and is motivated to help this practice grow and continue to play a pivotal part in the community by providing the best level of veterinary care.
Portomac itself is an excellent place to live. It is a safe, friendly suburban neighborhood with easy access to Washington DC. It is know for it’s restaurants, shopping, trails, parks and even ski resorts and the coast are within easy reach.

- DVM (or equivalent) degree from accredited university
- License to practice veterinary medicine in Maryland (or eligible to obtain)
- Leadership experienced in a primary care/general practice setting would be beneficial
- Supportive, emotionally intelligent leadership style
- $170,000-$210,000 salary
