Job Description
Up to $200k, No-Weekends, Clinical Autonomy, and the Opportunity to Put Your Stamp on The Future of a Well-Established Community Hospital… What More Could You Want?
We’re proud to be working with a highly respected, privately owned group of clinics across the Greater Charlotte area. This hospital is deeply rooted in community medicine, providing affordable, compassionate care without compromising on clinical quality. As the Medical Director, you’ll lead a talented, motivated team in a well-equipped, fast-paced environment while maintaining a healthy work-life balance with a 4-day schedule and no weekend hours.
This is a leadership position for a veterinarian who enjoys combining hands-on medicine with mentorship and team development. You’ll have the autonomy to make decisions that directly impact clinical standards and workflows, supported by a highly skilled management team and dedicated technical staff. The hospital’s focus on efficiency and collaboration means you can truly concentrate on patient outcomes while fostering a culture of respect, growth, and continuous improvement.
With three locations serving the Charlotte community, this group is proud to offer flexible scheduling, a well-resourced environment, and a supportive, non-corporate structure. Whether you’re a seasoned leader or a DVM ready to step up, this is a rare opportunity to shape the future of an already thriving practice.

- Confident in balancing clinical care and leadership responsibilities
- Passionate about teamwork, mentorship, and operational excellence
- Committed to fostering a positive, inclusive, and learning-focused culture
- Competitive compensation package – Up to $200k!
- Generous PTO with increases for tenure
- 401(k) with employer match
- Fully funded CE + 3 paid CE days
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
- Paid maternity leave
