This AAHA-accredited small animal hospital in Kingwood, TX, is seeking a Medical Director to join its team.
This is a rare opportunity to balance clinical excellence with leadership responsibilities. You’ll continue to practice high-quality medicine while dedicating time to establishing medical standards, mentoring associates, and ensuring patient care remains a priority.
With the backing of a supportive management team and specialists in operations, HR, marketing, and more, you’ll have the freedom to focus on medicine and leadership.
The hospital is home to three seasoned DVMs and a skilled support team with a 3:1 support ratio.
The facility is equipped with advanced technology, including digital radiology, ultrasound, therapeutic and surgical lasers, as well as a wide range of surgical capabilities. The team is committed to a fear-free approach, ensuring patients and clients alike feel at ease.

- DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
- You hold (or are eligible for) a Veterinary state license in Texas
- At least 3–5 years of clinical experience, ideally with some leadership responsibilities
- Strong interest in mentorship, team development, and medical quality standards
- Collaborative, approachable, and committed to delivering excellent patient care
- Competitive base salary between $160-$200K + production and no negative accrual
