Veterinary Medical Director

A leading AAHA-accredited hospital in Plano, Texas, is seeking a Veterinary Medical Director to lead its team. This is an excellent opportunity for a veterinarian ready to combine their passion for clinical excellence with leadership in a supportive, high-performing environment.

As the Medical Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the medical direction of the hospital while continuing to practice medicine. You’ll have access to modern veterinary technology, including digital radiography, ultrasound, tonopen, cold laser therapy, and hands-free radiology systems, all designed for the safety of both patients and staff. The hospital is AAHA-accredited and practices fear-free techniques whenever possible, reinforcing its commitment to high standards of care.

This role offers a full-time schedule, with hospital hours running Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 6:00 PM, and may look to open on Saturdays in the future, but for now, you can enjoy a consistent 4-day work week with no weekends! You’ll also be supported by a comprehensive operational infrastructure that includes marketing, HR, payroll, and more—giving you the ability to focus on patient care and team development.

In reward for your efforts, you will be very well compensated with a base salary up to $200K, plus production and a Medical Director stipend. You will also receive a sign-on bonus of up to $65,000. The rest of the benefits can be seen in the details below.
