An exceptional opportunity is available for a confident Veterinarian seeking a leadership role in a dynamic, friendly, multi-doctor hospital in one of Arizona’s most highly rated cities!
This small-animal general practice clinic in Tucson has been serving the community for over 30 years, cultivating an impressive, loyal, and growing client base. Due to the clinic’s success, they are experiencing growth, expanding their team, and recently renovated the premises, continuing to provide high-quality care to their patients.
The beautiful, standalone clinic is equipped with a variety of facilities offering comprehensive services to the Tucson community. These include digital radiology with radiologist interpretation, digital dental radiology, ultrasound, Phovia light therapy, an in-house laboratory, and an AI reporting system, as well as being equipped to handle numerous internal medicine, emergency, and urgent care cases. The hospital is open to promoting additional services if you have a specific clinical interest.
As the Medical Director, you will guide the hospital into its next phase by leading the team of veterinarians and support staff, providing support when needed, and leveraging your business acumen to enhance the clinic’s efficiency. You will uphold the strong culture and values, emphasizing client education, transparency, and compassion. You will also play a significant role in recruiting future doctors and support staff for the clinic. With the trust and backing of a senior DVM leadership team, you will have the autonomy to make decisions in the clinic without being second-guessed and practice the medicine you are passionate about.
In recognition of your efforts, you will receive an exceptional compensation package for your role as Medical Director, including a base salary up to $175K + 22% production with no negative accrual, 6% matched 401K, 20 days PTO, 40 hours paid sick leave, and 7 paid holidays! There is an additional performance bonus, 100% paid health insurance from day one, and a $3,000 CE allowance. The hospital has an emphasis on mental well-being and avoiding burnout, so you will be given a strong work-life balance – working 4 days per week and very few weekend shifts!

- Hold a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree or equivalent
- Hold an Arizona State Veterinary Board license in good standing
- Promote a fun, supportive, and collaborative work environment
- Enjoy educating clients, being diagnostic, and passionate about achieving the best outcomes for clients and their pets
- Confident in routine surgery and dentistry
- Have at least 4 years of experience as a veterinarian, ideally with some prior leadership experience
- Earn a base salary of up to $175,000, plus 22% production and additional leadership bonus
