Job Description
We’re excited to represent a highly respected, referral-only specialty hospital in Houston, TX, seeking a Board-Certified or Residency-Trained Veterinary Surgeon to join their collaborative Surgery team.
This incredible facility is home to a variety of board-certified specialists within cardiology, internal medicine, and surgery. They currently have two veterinary surgeons as part of their surgical practice, and they are ready to welcome a third specialist to meet increasing caseload demand.
This state-of-the-art facility offers advanced technology, including CT, ultrasound, fluoroscopy, endoscopy, and two spacious, fully equipped operating rooms. With a strong focus on teamwork and communication, the hospital fosters a supportive environment where you’ll collaborate with specialists in Cardiology, Internal Medicine, and Critical Care.
Open Monday–Friday, you can enjoy a consistent work schedule with no weekend hours or on-call, allowing you to deliver excellent patient care while maintaining a great work-life balance.

• DVM or equivalent degree that allows you to practice veterinary medicine in the US
• You hold (or are eligible for) a Texas veterinary state license
• Board-Certified or Residency-Trained in Small Animal Surgery (ACVS or equivalent)
• Excellent communicator who values collaboration and trust with peers and clients
• Motivated to grow within a supportive, high-performing specialty team
• Competitive base salary between $220,000 – $260,000 depending on experience
