Job Description
Seeking a 100% surgical position with a high level of autonomy and no weekends?! You’re in the right place! This truly unique position will allow you to work 4-days a week across hospitals in the Phoenix Metro area, performing surgery based on caseload.
You do NOT need to be board-certified for this position, just hold a passion and skill for surgery. Your caseload will vary day-to-day depending on clinic needs but will include various advanced and routine soft-tissue and mostly orthopaedic surgeries such as PUs, GI, splenectomies, TPLOs, fracture repairs, CCL procedures and more. You will travel to various hospital sites across Phoenix – travel expenses are fully covered by the employer.
As well as performing surgeries, you will also have the opportunity to mentor and teach within clinics for any Veterinarians looking to improve their surgical skills – making a real impact in the hospitals across Phoenix.

- You will have a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from an AVMA accredited college or equivalent.
- You must hold an Arizona State Licence in good standing or have the ability to obtain one (if relocating).
- You must hold at least 3 years of clinical experience as a Veterinarian with a passion for surgery.
- Excellent communication and time-management skills are essential.
- You will have considerable expertise in advanced Orthopaedic and Soft-Tissue Surgery.
- You would consider yourself an expert in basic Orthopaedic and Soft-Tissue Surgery.
- Base Salary starting between $300,000-$375,000+
- Production paid quarterly in addition to base salary on all services including prescriptions.
